Late Sri Subba Rao Suryavamshi started Rukmini Hall in the year 1930. Prior to this, Mr. Subba Rao used to carry two or three silk sarees in a carry bag and selling the same by roaming in Bangalore city. Later he upgraded his business by carrying the sarees in a bullock cart to various places in and around Bangalore.
Now Rukmini Hall is operating in 1600 sq. feet area. In this big showroom, customers can find exquisite collections of silk sarees like Arni, Banaras, Poochampalli, Kancheepuram, mysore silk.
Three brothers Sri Govardhan, Mr. Janardhan and Mr. Murli are taking in charge of this showroom and following the foot steps of their ancestors and maintaing the quality and credibility even today.

loyal customer support, Mr. Subba Rao first started Seetha Lakshmi
Hall along with one of his friends of Dharmavaram. In 1930 He started
RUKMINI HALL in the same Chickpet area with a initial capital of
12,000. In 1962 his son-in-law Mr. S. Venkobha Rao Pawar expanded
this showroom.
Infact,
Rukmini hall is one of the showrooms which popularizes Molakalmur
sarees in Bangalore City. The Rukmini Hall had designed and supplied
grand silk sarees to Dr. Rajkumar's 'Earadu Kanasu' and other Kannada
movies. This showroom is having a good quality jari sarees, cotton
sarees, fashion sarees, designer sarees and molkalmur sarees, Silk
Dhotis, Shlyas, cotton Dhotis, Shlyas etc.
